Welcome to Our
Deaf Church
Join us every Sunday for our 9:30am worship service. All Deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled and hearing people are welcomed. Magothy Deaf Church is a welcoming community to people from different faith backgrounds. ALL are welcome. Though our worship service is in American Sign Language (ASL), we provide a voice interpreter so hearing people can be included. Join us in-person or by watching our livestreamed service. Whether you are visiting, are returning, or just curious about faith, you are welcome at Magothy Deaf Church.
For weather-related closures, we normally follow the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. We also make announcements on our Facebook page. We often will be more cautious and offer a devotional instead of in-person worship on Facebook Live if there is snow.

Deaf Community Worship
Join us for Deaf worship services designed for the Deaf community.
Experience a welcoming environment where faith and community come together. Our church offers support and fellowship through sign language and outreach programs. Everyone is invited to participate in our Sunday services. We recognize people have different church experiences and we try to love all people no matter their life circumstances. Our worship emphasizes love, acceptance, tolerance, and grace – the way Jesus did! We are also committed to accessibility whenever possible. Reach out to Lisa Harvey at [email protected] with any accessibility needs.
